Absolutely fantastic pet friendly room, it was spotlessly clean and felt like a 4 star hotel. Probably the best motel we have ever stayed at! The gardens were beautiful and well kept. The pool looked very inviting and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying here.

Great motel for Maureen and I for two nights while we attended a family function. Room was clean, comfortable and well-furnished, including a really comfortable bed. Outside, the grounds were well tended with a beautiful gazebo available. Staff were all friendly and polite. We'll definitely adopt this motel as our home-from-home when travelling to Port Macquarie. Avoid at all costs: the opposite of hospitality. I have never been scolded and given such a guilt trip by someone working in hospitality. My crime was arriving later than expected to accomodation that advertises on their website “We provide 24-hour on site management.”  I got an email the day I was due to check in asking when I was arriving, we didn’t see the message as we were driving.  I was told I gave a dodgy number (I didn’t), stopped him having dinner out and kept him for sleeping. I was scolded when I called the number at 9.30pm and then greeted by a very angry man (who appeared literally a couple of minutes later so there is onsite “management”). I apologised for my error in not seeing the message and not realising the office closed at 6pm. I also offered to pay the advertised $100 fee for what was my error. He seemed happier to yell at me. It’s disappointing that no effort was made to problem solve for what I’m sure is a common issue for motels. You could have sent an SMS or left the keys in one of the key lock boxes next to reception. Had I been travelling without my partner I would left. I would not have felt safe staying in a place where such a minor offence results in such poor treatment. We had a booking for our return trip home which we canceled as soon as we got into the room. We left as soon as we had gotten enough rest to safely continue on our journey. For the last 8 weeks on the road and clocking up over 10K Klms, we've seen and stayed at alot of places. Town Beach Motor Inn rates among the best. Great location and access to the beach and good local eateries. I found the room to be clean and quiet with sufficent air con and shower supplied with unlimited soaps from conditioner to shampoo to body wash. The bed is comfortable and our room came with a 2 seater couch and small dining table. Outside you'll find a gleaming blue pool with a BBQ close by on a manicured grass lawn with outdoor seating area. We had such a lovely stay here in Port Macquarie. The location is absolutely perfect, close to everything yet still peaceful and quiet. What really stood out was the beautiful gardens. They are so well cared for and give the whole place a calm, welcoming feel, like staying at a grandparent’s home where everything is looked after with pride. Although the building is older, it is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. You can tell the owners genuinely care about the property and their guests. We felt comfortable from the moment we arrived and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxed, charming place to stay in a fantastic location.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place is kept in immaculate condition. Beautiful gardens and great looking pool....hopefully I have time for a swim next time. You can tell that the people who run the motor inn have alot of pride in the place. Rooms were very comfy and super clean. Will stay again.
